Pet Jewelry - are you serious?

Posted by: admin In: Pet Care

I am a proud pet owner. I have dog jewelery that I wear around my neck, showing how much I love poodles with a lovely pendant. I even have dog earrings. But the way I decorate myself is almost nothing compared to the way that I decorate my little puppy with dinosaur boys bedding. She is probably the very best dressed pooch in the whole city, if not the country. Of course, she gets to wear a nice, fuzzy knit sweater, and a little adorable cap to keep her shorn and trimmed head and body nice and warm. But everyone with a well manicured poodle gets them similar clothing – it is really almost a necessity. The way that she shines is the pet jewelry that she wears.

Fluffy’s pet jewelry starts where all dog jewelery starts – at the collar. Most dogs wear a collar, and if yours does not, you really should get it one. It would thank you if it could! But, while most collars are simple and functional, Fluffy’s is a piece of art, a stunning item of pet jewelry. It is the most adorable bright pink, totally unlike boys cowboy bedding and completely covered in bright, sparkling rhinestones. If you saw it, you would think it was the most adorable thing in the whole wide world. And, hanging from this is a pet pendant, showing in elegant script her name and address, in case she ever goes and gets lost. Not only does it make a great piece of pet jewelry, but it is also an important safety device, helping protect her. Because of that dog pendant, if she is ever lost and picked up by a dog catcher, they will know that they must call me immediately to pick her up. Now that is planning ahead!

Of course, she has other pet jewelry besides that. I mean, what dog does not have a collar with a pendant? Her coolest pet jewelry by far is the anklets or even boys pirates bedding that I make her wear. She has one around each foot. They are neat little metal rings with bells on them. When I take her to the park, she is the only dog out of all of the ones there, that jingles when she walks. And they give her an elegant look that most dogs are missing. She must be so proud of her pet jewelry. I know that I am, or else I would not have given it to her!

  • Jodi Adams: I agree, it's always good to research and understand the pets needs before getting one. They are also great companionship for seniors. Cheers Jod
